Lead Technician

  • Shelby graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's in General Studies in 2019. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Education at Belhaven University. She has always had a passion for working with children and teens. When she is not working she is spending time with her three beautiful children, reading, shopping, and traveling.

Behavior Technicians

  • Nikita is a Clarksdale native and a mother of three. She is working towards becoming a registered behavior technician at IPS. Nikita has worked in the medical field for over 17 years, 10 of those working with adults and children with intellectual disabilities. Her passion is helping others, but she became especially interested in ABA therapy after the birth of her 2-year-old son. The most rewarding part of ABA for Nikita is assisting clients to reach their goals and seeing their progress. Nikita is a few credits away from graduating from Coahoma Community College with an associate's degree in general education. Upon graduation, Nikita plans to further her education, working towards her bachelor's degree in early childhood development with a minor in psychology. When she is not working, Nikita loves to read, spend time with her family, and watch movies.

  • Ciji is a native of Clarksdale and graduated from Clarksdale High School in 2007 and Coahoma Community College in 2014 with a degree in barber/styling. Although passionate about styling hair, she soon discovered that her true calling was working and caring for children. Ciji has been around kids all her life, but it wasn't until she became a mother in 2009 that she realized how much she loved children. She had her second child in 2013, and when both of her children left the nest, she decided to pursue her passion and started working as a caregiver in 2018. She aims to become a great RBT and continue learning and growing in this field. When Ciji is not working, she loves spending time with her family and her furry son, Brooks, and prefers to stay home.

  • Jasmine is currently training to become a registered behavior technician. She graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. When she is not working, Jasmine loves spending time with her daughter, watching movies, and shopping. After learning about applied behavior analysis and the joy of working with children with autism, she knew she had discovered her passion. She wants to attend graduate school to become a behavior analyst.

  • Alicia is a student at Coahoma Community College who previously attended Delta State University. She is pursuing her associate degree in psychology and plans to earn a bachelor of science in biochemistry, focusing on pharmaceuticals. Alicia enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, shopping, and being creative.

  • Cashara began her career as a medical assistant in the mental health field after graduating in 2019. After 5 years of caring for individuals in the medical field she decided to start a career as a BehaviorTechnician. She is a mother of a 5 year old (Cassidy). When not at work, Cashara loves to be around family and friends and spend time with her beautiful daughter.
