Frequently Asked Questions
With what insurance companies are you in network? Good question! Do you want the short answer or the long answer?
Short Answer: Go to our Waitlist page, choose the service you desire and click the appointment/waitlist button, scroll down the form until you see the insurance options. If you see your insurance, then we are in network with your insurance.
Long Answer: It depends on the service. Generally we take: MS Medicaid (including Magnolia, Molina, and UHC - we do not take TN Medicaid), BCBS all states (commercial only and includes MS AHS, Anthem, FEP - we do not take BlueCare), UHC commercial (including UMR, Optum - we do not take TennCare), Tricare (limited to Psych Testing, Speech, OT, Social Group, and some counseling providers), Cigna (except ABA services), Ambetter (except ABA services), Aetna (Speech and some Counseling). Our waitlists’ forms are updated more often than this answer.
What’s the expected wait time before I can expect a call? It depends on the service. Go to our Waitlist page, find the service you desire, and look for the Wait Time estimate. We will not be able to call you until we have an opening for the appointment. Follow up question: Are your wait times on your website accurate? As accurate as educated guessing can be. Psychological Testing and ABA are highly needed services. We understand that the wait time is long, and we are doing everything we can to reduce that wait time.
How do I make an appointment? Go to our Waitlist page, find the service you desire, and click on the Sign Up button.
Where am I on the waitlist? We are not able to answer this question due to the high volume of requests. Please note the date on your confirmation email when you submitted your name to the waitlist and then the estimated wait time on the Waitlist webpage.
I’m not sure what service I need. I just know I need help! We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and not sure what direction to go in. Scroll to the top of this page, hover your mouse over “Services,” and read through each page.
Do you prescribe medications? No. You will need a medical doctor or psychiatrist. Take a look at InFocus Psychiatry.
Should I stop medications before my appointment? No. Please continue to take your medications as prescribed by your doctor.
Do I need a referral? Depends on the service.
No referral needed for counseling, social groups, psychological testing, or parent training.
Yes, a referral is needed for ABA (prescription from medical doctor and an Autism diagnosis from a comprehensive psychological evaluation performed by a psychologist), Speech and OT (referral from medical doctor)
