REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates will have a Master’s degree or higher.
Candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Must be licensed or license-eligible by to practice in the state of Mississippi .
Prior pediatric therapy experience working with autistic clients a plus, but not necessary
Must be planning to commute or relocate to Southaven, Mississippi, as well as commute one day per week to our Clarksdale, MS clinic

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

SPECIFIC DAILY/WEEKLY/QUARTERLY TASKS:

Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Use standardized measures within scope of practice to evaluate clients needs.
Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers of pediatric patients.
Educate parents and caregivers on how to help their children with daily activities.
Develop strategies to help children with sensory processing issues.
