ABA Clock-in/out Procedures

In light of some recent insurance audits throughout the state for other ABA providers, we want to ensure that if we were to face a similar audit, that we would have all of the necessary data to support our billing practices.

BCBAs have a variable schedule and they will clock-in when they arrive at their first location for the day (e.g., in-clinic or in-home or in-community). When arriving in the location, they can immediately clock-out for the day, highlighting their arrival time and presence at the clinic.

For salaried RBTs and BITs, they will clock-in when they arrive at their first location of the day. If it is in-clinic, they may immediately clock-out so they do not forget. For in-home sessions, we request that they remain on the clock for the duration of the session.

For hourly RBTs, there are no changes to your clock-in/out procedures.

Additionally, location services have been turned on as a requirement for all staff so that we can highlight the location for various sessions to further support our billing practices.
